The Northern New Jersey Great Dane Club Officers, Board Members and members would like
to welcome you to our website and thank you for taking the time to read
through it. If you are reading this section, hopefully you are
interested in joining us. As you can see, our objectives as a club
are to, further the advancement of Great Danes, to do all in its power
to protect and advance the interest of the breed and to encourage
sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials and other dog
events and to conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows and obedience
trails under the rules and regulations of the Great Dane Club of
American and the American Kennel Club. Do you find yourself wanting to
do the same? If you or your family were interested in joining our non-profit club, we would love to have you join us. We maintain four types of membership open to persons who are in good standing with the Great Dane Club of American and the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purposes of the club. They are: Single membership: Open to persons 18 years of age and older who enjoy all the privileges of the club including the right to vote and hold office. Life membership: Open to persons who have been members for 25 years. Life members do not pay dues but are eligible to vote and hold office. Junior membership: Open to persons 10-17 years of age. Junior members cannot vote or hold office. Family membership: Open to two persons 18 years of age and older residing in the same household. They enjoy all the privileges of the club. Each is entitled to a vote. While membership is to be unrestricted as to
residence, the Club’s primary purpose is to be representative of the
breeders and exhibitors in its immediate area. Below, you will find
the appropriate application for you to complete. Before you even do
this, please feel free to stop by one of our club meetings and see for
yourself who we are. You can find dates, times and place of our
meetings under the meeting section of this website.
